[Past Workshop]: Building a Socratic Reading Navigator
This hands-on workshop moves beyond simple essay generation to explore the architecture of “Socratic Reading Navigator” agents. You will learn to build AI assistants that empower students to think critically by asking probing questions rather than providing immediate answers.
What You’ll Accomplish?
Throughout this session, you will dive into agentic AI to understand how these systems utilize logic and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to analyze texts. You will learn to:
- Design the “Brain”: Construct the core logic of an agent to ensure it maintains high technical accuracy while strictly avoiding direct solutions.
- Foster Discovery: Configure interaction loops that guide readers through a process of reasoning and investigation.
- Active Learning: Transform students from passive consumers into active investigators who uncover insights through their own cognitive effort
Speaker:
