Introducing Finalist – Signify from Bandung Institute of Technology

Signify, from a Bandung Institute of Technology team, is an integrated, agentic AI learning platform for deaf and hard-of-hearing learners. It unifies real-time bidirectional sign-language translation, personalised learning materials, computer-vision sign-language practice, and gamified motivation within a single ecosystem. Addressing the systemic education gap facing DHH learners—few of whom receive early sign-based schooling—Signify replaces fragmented single-purpose tools with coherent, personalised support across the learning lifecycle. By combining translation, adaptive content, vision-based practice feedback, and engagement mechanics, the platform aims to make inclusive, accessible education a continuous reality for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
